Grey nurse goodness

The last three months have been a bit of a blur for me – super busy at work, super busy at home, although I have been able to get a bit of local diving which has been great.

A couple of weekends ago we took the boat over to Rottnest Island to find the Grey nurse sharks.  I always love this dive, and when the sharks are there in big numbers, it has to be the best dive in our local waters.  We were blessed with around 10 sharks in the cave and I even had two big ones (a female and male) follow me back to the boat.  It’s a real treat seeing these sharks out of the cave and swimming in open water.

It’s only four weeks until I’ll be hitting the road to Port Lincoln in South Australia to dive with the even bigger White sharks.  I can’t wait!
